Advertiser Disclosure

Updated November 6, 2026 by Keith Guirao

Smart Auto Assist is free to read. Maven Media, LLC publishes the site and may earn money from display ads, including ads from Google, and from affiliate or partner links and quote forms. Ads and partners do not write the educational articles, and they cannot pay to change a fact or a conclusion.

This page describes the money relationships you can already see on the site. I am not going to invent a sponsor list or a payout figure that is not published here.

Who publishes this site

Smart Auto Assist is a web property of Maven Media, LLC. I am Keith Guirao, the founder of Maven Media, LLC. I write and edit the educational articles on this site, and my name is on the byline.

Our mailing address is Maven Media, LLC, 400 Tenafly Rd #541, Tenafly, NJ 07670. You can reach me at keith@mavenmedia.co or through the Contact page.

The About page introduces the site. This disclosure, the Editorial Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Service explain how the publication is run.

How the site can earn money

Display ads. The site’s ads.txt file authorizes Google to sell ads here. The Privacy Policy already says Google and other companies may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. When ads appear, they should sit on the educational articles, not on thin trust pages such as Contact, About, Privacy, or Terms.

Affiliate links and partner forms. Some pages include links or forms that send you to an insurer, a lender, a vehicle-protection company, or another business. We may be paid if you click a link, submit a form, request a quote, or buy something through that path. The Privacy Policy describes sharing with advertising networks and with third-party partners for lead processing.

Company listings. The Partners page is a directory of company names. A name on that list is not a ranking and not a personal recommendation.

Paid articles. If we publish a paid or sponsored article, it will be labeled as sponsored or advertising. If you do not see that label, treat the page as editorial.

What payment can change, and what it cannot

Payment may affect which companies appear, where they appear, and in what order. We do not review every insurer, warranty, or lender in the market. A link, a logo, a quote button, or a spot on the Partners page is not an endorsement.

Payment cannot change the facts in an educational article. Advertisers do not write those articles. They do not approve them. They cannot pay to alter a number, a rule, or a conclusion. See the Editorial Policy for how articles are sourced and corrected.

Offers, prices, rates, and coverage terms come from the companies or from public sources and can change without notice. Confirm details with the company before you buy, sign, or submit an application.

Ads you can control

You can limit personalized ads from Google at Google Ads Settings. You can also use the industry opt-out at aboutads.info/choices. The Privacy Policy covers cookies, advertising, and how to send a privacy request.

Frequently asked questions

Does a quote form or a company link mean you recommend that company?

No. A form or a link means you can ask that company for more information. It does not mean the product fits your car, your driving record, your credit, or your state rules. Read the article, check the sources, and compare offers yourself or with a licensed professional.

Can an advertiser change what an article says?

No. An advertiser can pay for a labeled placement or for ad space. It cannot pay to rewrite a fact or a conclusion in an editorial article. If you think a page is wrong, email keith@mavenmedia.co or use the Contact page and include the URL and the line in question.

Why does the site list so many insurance and auto brands?

The Partners page is a directory, and some articles mention carriers or products while explaining how coverage works. Those names help you recognize companies you may already see in the market. They are not a ranked “best of” list sold to the highest bidder as editorial advice.

How do I turn off personalized ads?

Open Google Ads Settings or the aboutads.info choices page linked above. Turning off personalized ads does not remove every ad, and it does not change the educational articles. For questions about your data, see the Privacy Policy and write through the Contact page.

Educational content. This page is not legal advice and not financial advice. It explains how Smart Auto Assist is funded. It is not a recommendation to buy insurance, a warranty, or a loan.
